Often women and their children who come to shelter bring very little with them. But when they leave shelter to set up a new home, thanks to the generosity of the local community, they have basic supplies to get them started.
WRRC accepts donations of new underwear, new socks and new pj's; as well as diapers and toiletries.
While we appreciate the offer of used clothes and housewares from the community, due to lack of storage we are unable to accept these items. Please take you donation to St. Vincent de Paul's Economy Shop where we have a partnership.
Clothing and household item vouchers
WRRC works in partnership with St. Vincent de Paul's Economy Shop. Clothing items and small household are available to clients at the shop through a voucher system.
Take it or leave it board
A bulletin board in the agency breezeway has a list of items needed by clients and of items on offer from the community.
Would you like to help out by making a food donation?
WRRC is able to offer this service through the generosity of many supporters in our community who regularly hold food drives to help keep the shelves stocked. In addition to non-perishable goods, WRRC is able to accept frozen foods and meats to be used both in shelter and for distribution to clients in the community who choose not to come to shelter.
