| The
IQ Challenge will be held March 1, 2008 at the Caradoc Community
Centre, Mt. Brydges.
The IQ Challenge is a
fundraising event held annually and is
organized by a committee of volunteers.
The event is a night of
trivia made up of eight rounds with each round having ten questions.
Participants are teams of eight people who register for the event but
people are always welcome to come the night of the event to make up
teams or to be a spectator.
An emcee for the event asks all of the questions as well as making
announcements. Teams are given a few minutes after each
question to come up with an answer. Throughout the evening of the event
participants are encouraged to partake in a silent auction as well
as a blind auction. There are also prizes given out and a
light supper provided. At the event we also sell 50/50 tickets
and drink tickets. |
