It Takes a Community to “Spruce” up the Beech Street Shelter

Campaign Sponsorship Opportunities

Adopt-A-Bedroom   $3,500  (we have 7 bedrooms!)

• Allows that bedroom to be completely repaired, repainted & refurbished: beds, mattresses, bedding & pillows, lamps and light fixtures, and dressers/closets. It also replaces carpet as required;
• Allows for the purchase of collapsible crib/playpen and related infant equipment for use in that room as required;

• Places a child-friendly symbol on the door (such as a sun or a ladybug or a rainbow) so that kids can easily identify the room;
• The donor will be recognized with a sign on the door of one of the bedrooms in the shelter.
• A photo of the door and/or members of your group and acknowledgement of your contribution is placed in our Annual Report on the fiscal year ending March 2005

      OR…With your donation, purchase a:

*Please note: We require durable, quality furniture/furnishings that can withstand the usage received in the shelter.  Some furnishings must also meet CSA standards as well as safety-related requirements for our residents.  Rooms are configured differently.  One room (an its ensuite bathroom) is wheelchair accessible.

Adopt-A-Bath Room   $3000  (we have 4!)

• Allows our bathrooms to be completely repaired, repainted & refurbished: new shower stalls, light fixtures, drywall repair, paint, window treatments, art and/or flooring

• The donor will be recognized with a sign on the door to the bathroom in the shelter.
• A photo of the room and/or members of your group and acknowledgement of your contribution is placed in our Annual Report on the fiscal year ending March 2005

      OR…With your donation, purchase a:

Adopt-Our-Living Room   $12 000

• Allows our common living areas to be completely repaired, repainted & refurbished: sofas, arm chairs, side tables, television, video cabinet, toy storage area, light fixtures, window treatments, art and/or carpet

• The donor will be recognized with a sign in a prominent location in the living room of the shelter.
• A photo of the room and/or members of your group and acknowledgement of your contribution is placed in our Annual Report on the fiscal year ending March 2005

OR…With your donation, purchase a:

Adopt our Kitchen/Dining Room  $15 000

• Allows our kitchen area to be completely repaired, repainted & refurbished: replace kitchen cupboards, fridge, dining room table, light fixtures, art, replace & install dishwasher, reconfigure pantry area and purchase new pots & pans for shelter use

• The donor will be recognized with a sign in a prominent location in the shelter kitchen
• A photo of the room and/or members of your group and acknowledgement of your contribution is placed in our Annual Report on the fiscal year ending March 2005

      OR…With your donation, purchase a:

Adopt-Our-Common Room   $5000

(This is a space in the shelter for women to sit & breast feed or journal.  It overlooks our back yard and has no TV/VCR)

• Allows our common living areas to be completely repaired, repainted & refurbished: sofas, arm chairs, side tables, light fixtures, window treatments, art and/or carpet

• The donor will be recognized with a sign in a prominent location in the room
• A photo of the room and/or members of your group and acknowledgement of your contribution is placed in our Annual Report on the fiscal year ending March 2005

      OR…With your donation, purchase a:

Adopt our Reception Area   $3500

• Allows our reception area to be completely repaired, repainted & refurbished: replace sofa with armchairs, table & lamp; inspirational art and coat rack; create storage closet and make an area designated for use by our volunteers

• The donor will be recognized with a sign on the door of one of the bedrooms in the shelter.
• A photo of the room and/or members of your group and acknowledgement of your contribution is placed in our Annual Report on the fiscal year ending March 2005
