Daisy of Hope

May is Daisy of Hope Month!
For the third year in a row, The Women’s Rural Resource Centre (WRRC) is participating in the province-wide Daisy of Hope campaign, which runs throughout the month of May .The campaign is designed to raise awareness about abused women and their children.

In the town of Strathroy and throughout West Middlesex County, money raised through The Daisy of Hope campaign supports the services of The Women’s Rural Resource Centre. These services include: an emergency shelter for abused women and their children, counseling services, and a free, 24 hour crisis telephone line.

In addition to the sale of Daisies at various businesses across West Middlesex County, there are a number of special events planned:
